Majuro Map Guide

Majuro debuted in Update 29 (April 2024) as a brand-new Territories map set on a tropical atoll built for fast-paced infantry and light-vehicle combat. Strangely Interactive’s launch tagline — “mind the gap” — warns about platform edges and maglev crossings that punish distracted sprinting. Update 30 layered major layout polish before 1.0: capture points A, B, and C grant owning teams nearby spawns, point holders unlock LAV spawn access, and the maglev cargo train received proper warning audio, lights, and signage. This guide covers flag flow, Hare and Silverback flanks, train timing, and why map control snowballs harder here than on open Errah deserts.

Layout and pacing

Majuro compresses fights into island platforms, bunkers, and seawall lanes rather than wide tank deserts. Infantry duels happen at short-to-medium range with frequent vertical drops between levels.

Light vehicles dominate — Partisan tanks can anchor but often arrive late after LAVs and IFVs establish flag presence. Expect Sturm and Locust gunships only when server rules enable air on Territories.

Update 30 capture mechanics

Owning capture points A, B, or C lets your team spawn closer to those flags — rotating three stable points creates brutal spawn pressure on trailing teams.

Teams holding a capture point also unlock an LAV spawn tied to that point, making Majuro Territories one of the strongest map-control snowball modes in 1.0.

Maglev cargo train

The maglev freight line cuts through contested lanes. Update 30 added audible warnings, signal lights, and signage — still lethal if you tunnel-vision a cap fight on the tracks.

Use train timing to cross safely or bait enemies who ignore the horn. Collision and cover polish reduced snagging on bunkers and seawalls but gaps remain lethal.

Recommended loadouts

Territories generalist: assault rifle, light-medium armor, one grenade. Flanker: SMG or shotgun with Hare or Silverback LAV. Anchor: LMG with Support ammo if your squad holds a maglev-adjacent flag.

Anti-armor stays relevant when a Partisan or Dhaka claims central — pack a launcher if your team loses vehicle parity.

Territories strategy

Secure A/B/C triangle first before chasing rear flags — spawn advantage matters more here than raw kill count.

Assign one player to sweep maglev flanks every rotation; bots love undefended platform edges.

When ahead on tickets, defend LAV spawn flags instead of hunting kills across seawalls.

Learning path

Play Majuro Territories after Errah or Fortress basics. Faster than Irega tank lanes but less chaotic than post-1.0 Darsalaam lobbies.

Frequently Asked Questions

When was Majuro added?
Update 29 in April 2024. Update 30 polished capture spawns, LAV unlocks, and maglev warnings before 1.0.
Is Majuro good for tanks?
Possible but tight lanes favor LAVs and IFVs. Tanks work as second-wave anchors once flags stabilize.
Does Majuro have Incursion?
Territories-focused in public rotation. Verify server mode in browser before queuing.
Why is map control so strong?
Capture points grant nearby spawns and LAV access — losing the triangle collapses rotation options.
What does “mind the gap” mean?
Official warning about platform edges and maglev tracks — falling or getting hit by the train ends fights instantly.
