New Arsenal in Version 1.0

Update 30 — shipped ahead of the July 11, 2026 version 1.0 launch — added three headline loadout items that change close-range mech brawls, vehicle survivability, and fighter burst damage. The Mech Flamer equips Velius and Gheist mechs with chemical napalm for CQB incineration. Harden Countermeasures (labeled Infused Armour Countermeasure on some UI strings) temporarily harden ground vehicles against frontal damage at the cost of rear vulnerability. Twin-linked primaries for fighters and bombers mirror your main gun through the secondary slot, overheating faster but spiking short-window damage. This page explains when each item earns its budget, faction mirrors, and where to test safely in Update 30 practice arenas before bringing them into Darsalaam or Majuro Territories.

Mech Flamer

A close-quarters weapon for ULA Velius and AIA Gheist mechs. Projects chemical napalm that punishes infantry clustering on capture points or resort interior halls.

Tradeoffs: short range and exposure during animation — pair with infantry escort on Majuro platforms or Darsalaam docking arms. Expensive in mech loadout budget; skip on open Errah tank lanes where rifles outrange you.

Test in damage-free practice arenas from the Tutorials menu before first live match — flame spread timing differs from ballistic weapons.

Harden Countermeasures

Ground-vehicle module that temporarily reduces damage taken from the front while increasing vulnerability from the rear. Strong when pushing a lane head-on with Partisan or Dhaka, weak if flanked by Hare LAVs.

Activate before cresting a hill or entering maglev-adjacent caps on Majuro — not after you are already surrounded. Support engineers extending hull life multiply the value.

Do not confuse with fighter flares — this is a ground-hull countermeasure with directional tradeoffs called out in Update 30 patch notes.

Twin-linked primaries (fighters and bombers)

Occupies the secondary weapon slot on fighters and bombers, mirroring your primary guns. Overheats faster than single-barrel setups but delivers higher burst damage in short windows.

Excellent on Scimitar and Rakshasa bombing runs when you commit to a single pass. Less forgiving for Rapier and Iret interceptors in prolonged dogfights — heat management becomes the skill check.

Pair with Fighter Loadouts guide for rank gates and hardpoint budgets. Re-test after hotfixes; gun heat curves received Update 30 tuning.

Loadout utility tools (same update)

Update 30 also shipped quality-of-life loadout tools alongside new items: mirror preset to opposite faction, generate random kits, copy and paste between slots, sort saved loadouts, and fix cosmetic slider saves without dragging indicators.

Use faction mirror when swapping ULA to AIA between matches — speeds testing new arsenal items on both mech families.

Where to test first

Official practice arenas and sandbox wargames from the Tutorials menu let you spawn mechs, vehicles, and fighters without ticket pressure. Run each new item there, then promote to Territories on Majuro or exterior Darsalaam.

See Version 1.0 Update for full changelog context and Post-Launch Hotfixes if item behavior shifts after July 2026 patches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which mechs get the Flamer?
ULA Velius and AIA Gheist — parallel mech chassis with faction-specific naming.
Does Harden protect all sides?
No. Frontal damage reduction with increased rear vulnerability — flanking LAVs counter it.
Can twin-linked guns replace missiles?
They use the secondary slot, so you trade mirrored primaries for traditional secondaries like missiles or flares.
Are these items paywalled?
No. Standard rank and budget unlocks on public 1.0 servers.
Did hotfixes nerf the Flamer?
Check Steam news after July 2026. Wiki updates follow named balance patches.
